|---|---|---|---|---|
| Your research goal | Verify an insert, a PCR product or a specific sequence region. | Confirm a complete plasmid construct, including insert and backbone. | Examine a longer PCR product or a defined linear DNA target. | Measure fragment sizes and compare assay-specific marker patterns. |
| Core strength | Clear base-by-base readout around a chosen primer. Useful for focused verification. | Long-read context across the construct supports sequence and structural verification. | Long reads help preserve sequence context across the target region. | Size-based resolution for applications such as microsatellites, RFLP and ITDs. |
| Results to explore | Chromatogram, base calls and quality information. | Consensus sequence, plasmid annotation and read statistics. | Consensus sequence, read-length and coverage information; analysis agreed for the project. | Electropherogram with fragment sizes and signal intensities. |
| Plan your sample | Choose a suitable primer and clean template. Broader coverage may require additional reactions. | Submit high-purity clonal plasmid DNA. A reference helps with construct comparison. | Provide cleaned products, expected sizes and primer information. PCR amplification does not preserve native DNA modifications. | Confirm assay design, labeling and size range. This measures fragment size rather than the full base sequence. |

Choose Whole Plasmid for purified circular constructs. Choose Linear / Amplicon for purified PCR products, amplicon pools or native linear DNA projects.
Whole plasmid projects include consensus FASTA, read-length statistics, a pLannotate plot and a feature annotation table. Reference-based variant reporting requires a reference and an agreed scope.
PCR does not preserve the original DNA’s native modification pattern. Modification analysis requires suitable PCR-free input and supported analysis methods.

Submit purified DNA with matching sample labels, expected sizes and accurate quantification.
Long reads help characterize complete plasmids and complex vectors, bringing sequence and structural context together. Real-time data acquisition and scalable workflows support projects from individual constructs to larger batches.
Use whole plasmid sequencing for synthetic construct validation, therapeutic-vector research, microbial plasmid studies and manufacturing research quality control. Consensus analysis can help investigate insertions, deletions and structural differences.
Consensus FASTA, read-length statistics, a pLannotate plasmid plot and an annotated feature table. Reference-based variant reporting is available when a reference is provided and included in the agreed scope.
Submit pure, double-stranded clonal plasmid DNA. Input quantity, achievable coverage, timing and pricing are confirmed for your construct and batch.
Start a whole plasmid order →Long-read sequencing can span full-length targets and preserve phase across variants. Discuss full-length 16S and ribosomal operons, viral targets, HLA loci, synthetic fragments, large gene regions and CRISPR validation with our team.
Submit purified PCR products or cleaned amplicon pools, free of primers and dimers. The supplied preparation guidance is 50–100 ng total, depending on pool complexity; confirm your project’s input requirement. Include expected sizes and primer sequences, or request design support.
Consensus FASTA per barcode, read-length and coverage plots, and consensus quality statistics. Reference alignment, variant analysis and phylogenetic placement are optional. Modification reports require an appropriate native, PCR-free workflow and supported targets.
Library preparation, multiplexing, sequencing depth and analysis are tailored to your project. Read length, turnaround and accuracy depend on input quality and agreed scope.
